The most significant driver of the debt in the USA is the social programs.   Over time, the federal budget has grown at a rate faster than the growth of the GDP.  

 

Anyway, how do income tax rates relate to billionaires, whose wealth is based on their company valuation? 

While I think everyone agrees the argument that the Democrats are trying to extend the ACA to illegal aliens is misinformation, the truth is the ACA was always bad policy, and most of America is not at all disappointed to see it cut. So are the Democrats correct this will affect millions of Americans? Yes. Is that a bad thing? That depends on whether you supported Obamacare in the first place. I am happy to see the government shut down to stop that abomination. It single handedly destroyed any hope for affordable health care in the USA, and directly caused the nonsense Americans are suffering today, where it is cheaper to pay cash for a hospital visit than to try and use insurance.

 

In the mean time, this shutdown is the perfect opportunity to finally implement the operation that will take back America from the deep state globalists. The military being in the Democrat run cities to facilitate arrests under the guise of "riot control" has been predicted since 2017.   Genuine arrests of deep state politicians should follow along soon, coupled with the dismantling of many of the bureaucratic structures that were implemented over the last several decades to control the US outside of voter accountability.

 

It's beginning to look more and more like the sesquicentennial in July of next year really will be the end of the military psyop we've been living through, and the dawn of whatever post globalist America is going to be.  We'll know soon enough if finally "the storm is upon us". Trump promised we would find out what that meant in his iconic press statement on Oct. 6, 2017.

Both sides need to sit down and behave, then do some very, very serious reductions in future spending.

A recent Quinnipiac Poll (9/24/25) stated that Democrats only had a 30% favorability rating with respondents; this is the lowest since the poll began asking this question in 2008. In comparison, Republicans had a 38% favorability rating and Trump had a 38% favorability rating as well with the same respondents.

 

One week later, Democrats voted to shut down the US government over what is being reported as a want for $1.5 TRILLION in new spending over a clean baseline Continuing Resolution.

I heard today that, the democrats want to cancel a $50,000,000.00 fund that is allocated for rural hospitals and reallocate it to, criminal aliens (aliens that violated immigration laws, entering the country illegally, thus committing a criminal crime).   

 

Interestingly, those same rural hospitals  that the democrats want to defund, are required to treat criminal aliens (the violation of the immigration law, the first time, is a misdemeanor crime, yet it is still a crime) if the criminal alien shows up in the emergency room requesting medical assistance (as are all hospitals in the U.S. of A.).

I was wrong about that 50 million dollar fund, that the democrats want to cancel for rural American hospitals. 

 

It is actually, a 50 Billion dollar fund that the democrats want to cancel and not give to rural American hospitals.
