The extra 200 at the airports is for them to do the photo and fill in the forms for you, you just hand over your passport.
October 25, 2025Oct 25 Popular Post OP, you have correct answers above. Note you can see the reentry permit office from passport control. It's couple of steps past immigration. Tell immigration officer stamping you out that you are obtaining reentry permit. Saves him the need for him to point out that you don't have one. The optional 200b service fee is a winner. They do the form + photo etc You pay in cash.

Just to be clear the "extra" 500 over standard single entry 1000b is only if you opt to have immigration fill out you application TM8 + photo.
