Have you ever flown internationally on a long haul flight and wondered who might occupy the empty seat alongside you?

In my case I hope to get a slim, attractive, long legged Miss World parking her bum next to me, sharing some idle gossip, a few giggles, the pop of a champagne cork and an exchange of telephone numbers at the end of the flight.....BUT

....I always get the biggest porker on the 'plane. One who may well be totally sober but has a huge hangover both sides of the seat. One who hogs the whole dividing arm rest to herself for the entire flight, one who crushes your toes each time she makes one of her frequent trips to the toilets and whose huge backside brushes your nose with each of those toilet breaks.

The same thing seems to happen to me in the movie theater seats and/or the mini-bus to the airport.

Where are all the slim, attractive girls when you really want them?

I'm a big lad, but I keep in my seat. I checked in and they gave me an exit row - great more legroom, so can stretch out. Small asian lad on the window and empty middle seat. Doors just about to close and all looks quite good. Then disaster strikes - must have been 200kilo easy and he was in the middle seat.

Let's just say I vacated seat when I could and spent a good 6hrs standing up and chatting with flight attendants. (with cocktails of course)

i live far away from the tourist areas and have been coming here for over thirty years. Now I have retired here I have to say that the average wealth of the thai family has improved immensely over that thirty year period. The kids have been better fed and and are taller than ever. Some fatties around but still many gorgeous slim females of all ages

As I said before, with a comment such as yours it's obvious you're looking for very skinny girls. Fat girls are less than 1 in 10.

I'm sorry to disagree with you, but I live here full time and it never ceases to amaze me how slim the Thai girls are. The girls here are in great shape.

I agree that Thai's as a whole are getting chubbier, must be the introduction of all the fatty foods and milk products.

The fat little kids who the parents think are cute by overfeeding them is sad as they will most likely have future weight problems because of it.

I don't subscribe to the observation that the fat outnumber the slim but I would wager the average Thai body mass index (BMI) is a bit higher than 10 or 20 years ago regardless of gender and occupation.

The Thai diet has changed rapidly along with their lifestyle. Even if they don't eat regularly at McDonalds or Burger King, they do now have a 7-11 or a Family Mart every 300 yards or so and the late night snack is more likely to be some processed, pre-packaged stuff rather than the healthier Thai stir fry, kwaeteow or the like. As in the west, more roads, cars and motorcycles so less walking and exercise.

Well, of course any fellow Canadians are assumed to be attractive.

But seriously... I wasn't refering to every single man in Thailand or TV, just the ones slagging off the girls in this post. Maybe I'm wrong, but I do think that someone with that kind of crap attitude towards women probably does have to pay for it (and IMHO, most guys who marry a bargirl are still paying for it -- long term)

I wish some guys on this forum would figure out that it's fine to say "my personal taste is [this]" without feeling the need to slag off every other type of girl on the planet. Don't like the green M&Ms? Just leave them there. Chances are, someone else thinks they're the best ones.

actually, i do. given whats in pattaya, im still pretty much a catch. but... this is pattaya. im a 45yo guy, looks faded, a bit soft in the middle - but not bad for my age.

i used to get a lot of freebies here - of course after paying for food/drinks but not so unlike stateside no? i like to pay....its simple, honest and up front and non committal. i keep only one girl on a string at a time and if i didnt think she liked spending time with me - id finish her in a flash.

if im paying for something, i think i have a right to choose what shape, color and flava i want.
