Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

Still I don't understand how the new rule works...

Here is my situation.

I left Thailand by land on May 30 2007 after 90 days stay without visa(2 times out-and-in by land) and a followed 60 day visa finished (I am in China now.)

I am thinking to go back to Thailand next month by land.

My question is;

Do I need to get Thai visa even if I want to stay for less than 30 days?

How long should it pass before I start to get visa on arrival for 30 days.

I am really happy to have any information about this...

Thank you in advance!

Have a lovely day. :o

Entry at end of September should be safe for a new 30 day visa exempt stamp. I suspect you could enter before that date and get it but highly advise using a visa to be sure - the small cost will eliminate the slide-rule delay for you and those behind you.

as i understand it you can stay in thailand for a maxmum of 90 days in a 6 month period & maximum of 30 days on visa on arrival once your 90 days are used you can't return without some kind of visa for 90 days or 3 months.

you have been out country for 3 months so your 90 days will start again if you enter in september
