In my personal opinion, since the President of The United States is threatening tarrifs on the UK, with the aim of damaging the UK economically, to force us to fall in line with his plans to seize Greenland, then The King should not visit. It would be deeply humiliating both for the country and The King

Of course Sir Keir Starmer may see things differently - but then it sometimes seems that his head is so far up Mr Trump's fundamental orifice that his (Starmer's) view of the world is obscured by his (Trump's) tonsils!

I strongly suspect that Mark Carney (Canadian PM) would probably also have a major say regarding the wisdom of any royal visit to the USA. Charles is as much the King of Canada as he is of the UK. And Carney has shown much more of a willingness to stand up to Trump than has Starmer and his pathetic grovelling.
