Oh, and it was also the left that was spitting on Viet Nam vets when they returned.

The problem is that more than 50% of Americans think that the stuff he does is ok, or more than ok.And people like Miller, Besant and others think that the whole world, other than China and Russia, wants to be like America! News alert, I and people I mix with have no desire to be in a country like America. In fact, Russia and America still aren’t out of the old Cold War scenario where they were the two pre eminent super powers where they embody good and evil and everyone cowers in the wake of their power. Well the world has moved on and those who take even a small amount of interest in history know that America bears more than its share of the evil brand. And I think the world is getting tired of following blindly in Americas wake as it starts war after war. And just to get told that no one is ever “there” for America. What about all the dead non Americans that fought twice in the Gulf, Afghanistan, heck even Vietnam.Trump is right about one thing, Europe needs to grow a backbone, develop their own capability where they need to, so that America isn’t needed any more.I think a lot of people are just sick of Trump because he showcases everything that is cr*p about America. It would be hard for me to describe the number of American expat friends I have, both here in Thailand and elsewhere who have left behind America with glee and thankfulness, and most of us are rather ashamed of being American at this point in time.

It may not have happened on the base that they landed on, but it sure happened on the streets for years afterwards, and many of those vets remain traumatized to this day. They are shown the same level of disrespect by Trump today, as with all members of the military which he seems to have quite a bit of disdain for, and in turn they utterly despise him and Tiny Petie, and have not even one gram of respect for either clown.

Are you actually implying that Republicans in Thailand are richer than Democrats, and if so are you implying that they are somehow superior to those with a lower net worth? One of the things that has always made me proud about American culture is the fact that it has less class structure than many other societies. I mix it up with friends that are super wealthy, and I have a lot of friends that are just getting by, it doesn't really matter to us, it's all about what the man has in his heart and who he is as a person, and what his level of integrity is. The history books I read show that from start to finish it was only ever a quagmire that simply got worse for USA as time went on. To the point where the only strategy being followed to try and gain a stalemate, was to kill sufficient NVA to cause the North to sue for peace due to the extent of the casualties. Hence the notorious American commander known as The Butcher of the Delta came into the limelight because he was “rewarded” for dead bodies, and troops under his command provided them. Unfortunately many were innocent civilians, but it didn’t matter, a body was a body.Maybe there are American war victories that can be celebrated, Vietnam ain’t one of them and never looked like being one at any point in time regardless of who held the presidency

Remember Michell summed it up perfectly, the FIRST time she was proud of the US was when her leftist husband was elected. She's been playing the victim and the race-card ever since.
