WW3 Fears Surge As Trump Says US Military ‘Armada’ Is Heading To Iran

Fears of a wider Middle East war surged after President Donald Trump confirmed that a large U.S. military force is moving toward Iran amid escalating unrest inside the country.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said an “armada” of U.S. ships and aircraft is already en route, warning Tehran that Washington is watching events “very closely.”

“We have a lot of ships on their way to Iran,” Trump said. “We have a big force on its way over there. I’d rather not see anything happen — but we’re watching them very closely.”

Iran’s military responded with open threats. Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi warned that any move against Khamenei would trigger catastrophic retaliation.

“If a hand is stretched toward our leader, we will not only cut that hand off — we will set their world on fire,” he said.

The standoff follows Trump’s warning that Iran would be “wiped off the face of the Earth” if anything happened to him — language that has sharply raised fears of direct U.S.–Iran conflict.
