Can anyone please recommend a device that can detect electric cables, water pipes etc. embedded inside the walls? How reliable are these equipment, especially with PVC water pipes?

Can one device detect all metal, power & PVC pipes?

After buying a new condo, I feel this could avoid a lot of 'accidents' !

Saw one on Lazada, but as I have never used one, am a bit clueless on this.

I'm pretty sure the high-end ones will, but that's north or US$500

I think if you run the water, you can hear them with a stethoscope and or find then with thermal imaging id the water is significantly cooler or warmer than the wall.

For $10 it would be a crap-shoot.
