A Jet2 flight from Turkey to the UK was diverted to Belgium on February 12, after a violent altercation erupted between passengers.

The incident was recorded by Suleyman Ozgur Das, who was on his way from Antalya to Manchester. Ozgur Das told Storyful that the flight was diverted “for safety reasons.”

The shocking footage shows multiple passengers involved in physical violence and shouting slurs, while a flight attendant attempts to break up the scrum, shouting, “Sit down! We’ve got kids on board.”

Had a similar scrum break out on a flight from Turkey when some fellow passengers took exception when I told the "How do they separate the men from the boys in Turkey?" Joke.

It kicked off when I answered "with a crowbar."

Very good. Rather have all those hoodlums go to the UK rather then come here to Thailand. We already have enough of them here comming from all over. Such people should be black listed and banned for life to fly. They harass you for a bottle of water at the airport but have not been able to agree worldwide to make laws that ban such crooks from flying.
