The US ambassador to Israel and Evangelical minister, Mike Huckabee, just gave Israel US permission to invade half the Levant. And as further appropriation, he placed a tiny note from Donald Trump, appropriately, in the cracks of the Western Wall. Who knows what'll come out of his crack next.

Huckabee has stated "there are no such thing as Palestinians" and believes the West Bank should be renamed "Judaea and Samaria" to provide a stable home for Israelis. The pastor was echoing the opinion of Israel’s siting Prime Minister Golda Meir’s opinion in 1969. However, many American rightwingnuts are questioning US support for Israel: too much blood and treasure is being expended to defend Israel.

"God is effectively a real estate agent who has given a divine right to Zionist Jews to take the land of Palestine. Other Christians, who interpret the Bible’s commands in a figurative sense that applies to the Christian Church, and not a modern political movement, see this quite differently. In the US, religious headcount totals are far lower. 25% of Americans claim to attend church weekly but data confirms only 10% or fewer.

78 million identify as Evangelical Christians, 35% of the US population. 70% of the White Evangelicals believe it  was God who gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people.

There are more than 30 million Christian Zionists (WTF!). Christians United for Israel, for example, has a membership of ten million. 64% of Evangelicals believe Israel’s attack on Gaza was justified,

36% of the population believe the state of Israel is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy regarding the second coming of Jesus (when he takes time off from picking strawberries in Watsonville).

More White Evangelicals (27%) believe God gave Israel to the Jewish people than do American Jews (12%). 23% of Jews say they do not believe in God.

Six in ten American Jews (61%) believe in a two-state solution for an independent Palestine and can coexist peacefully.

American "Christian" fundamentalists believe there must be a state of Israel for Christ to return and start Armageddon so Xians can be Raptured. Sorry, Jews, you can't come.

Do you really believe any of these masses who called themselves Christians practice Christ's teachings? That is, after all, the important part.

Nobody believed him then, nobody believes him now, and nobody will believe in him if he decides to check us out next time. I think he'll just split this scene when he sees how divided warlike we are.
