dragonfly94
It puts a folder on the HD somewhere called IT UNIVERSITY and cannot get rid of it. I am not on the internet at home so it must have come via USB dervice from internet cafe. Also get a warning about ND32 files. AVG is fairly recent one but it does not pick this thing up. Anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

But i agree esential to have a reputable anti virus and anti spyware software set installed and updated
cdnvic
Good point. I should have mentioned to hit F5 or F8 as Windows loads to enter safe mode first. It should boot fine then.
