Re-entry permit from Jomtien

Featured Replies

How long does this usually take to reach the correct desk? and how long to process? is it a case of joining the long snaking ball ache of a queue in the middle then left side.

I'm thinking if it's going to be an hour+ i might as well do it at the airport

No brainer. At airport opt for 200b service fee (optional) and just hand over pp

Caveat: for anyone renewing pp best to obtain at immigration office

I would try to hit the snaking queue on the left either about midday or after lunch (1 pm)

but as always it's pot luck sometimes there is no queue at all

but sods law always comes into play always busy at time and date I go..90 day report

snaking queue to the left empty 90 day building bursting and vice versa.

All though the airport option is always there I like to have everything I can prepared beforehand in case plans go astray and arrive late at the airport....happened to me one time during the gas/petrol station night time shutdown of Thaksin government ...the taxi I had arranged ran out of fuel midway..it was very stressful to say the least...

The queue you want for a re-entry permit is on the left side of Jomtien immigration ( check docs and get number) no idea at the airport.

They really should split the queue for checking the docs and getting a queue number if your docs are already in order but it is still better than the total mayhem when everyone piled into the main building before they built the left and right buildings in the 'car park'

If you are talking about other snake like things to the left or right

then that's another matter entirely ! 😋

As a PS if I remember correctly the desk for re-entry permit is actually on the right once you get into the 'main' building.

Here is list for reentry at immigration.

At airport you only hand over passport. Not even TM8 200b)

You bring your own picture there's no 200 bt fee, so you only only pay the 1k. I generally have all the stuff prepared and give them the docs and 1k.

I stated in earlier post that the 200b is optional.
