March 19Mar 19 Popular Post Anyone have connections to the old staff at what is now The Moat House? I was there in 2001 for around 3-weeks with my nephew. This place was our watering hole during that time and hung out with some locals. I've recently scanned in my 35mm film and have a few pictures of staff there. I've included a couple photos of the bar and of the two girls who we hung out with. I've got other's that they may want as I imagine they don't have many photos from that time period.
March 19Mar 19 No girls there now, nearly all male bar staff.Last week, three guys serving on the rooftop bar, two guys serving in the downstairs bar.The new John's Place is 4 shops down, never been in there.

Sounds like you're a local? Feel free to share the photos with the staff if you make it back there. Maybe it's a tight-knit community.

John used to run a tight ship, never missed a thing, his wife runs the new venue, she always shakes her head when he rolls up.😉 which isn't very often.

Feel free to show the photos to her or anyone that may have memories that deep (it was half a lifetime ago for me). I've only got a few good ones to pass on to them but worth the try if they don't have many others.
