As promised, an update.

I exited Thailand on Match 14th via the e gates at DMK.

I am on DTV visa, I went through with my passport, no exit stamps, no worries.

Furthermore, I returned to Thailand March 17th, and entered the country without any issues.

My Visa status was obviously in the Thai immigration system.

I had also done the DTAC online and went fully armed for any immigration questions, he simply waved me through.

So, it is a worry as we age, and we have always used and got used to exit and entry stamps, but No, no problems at all.

As a side note, I went early evening flight to Siem Reap, there were approximately 25 people on the flight!!

It was quiet, unfortunately.

I hope the two countries resolve their issues.

Earlier this month I went early evening flight BKK-KTI. It was busy. So maybe you were just lucky to have a quiet flight?

The Phnom Penh flights get a fair share of business travelers in addition to any tourists. I wouldn't be surprised if being quiet was the norm for Siem Reap flights nowadays.

I am PR here, and normally I exit or return Thailand via of exit/entry stampings. I am not certain if I can do it via the E-Gates. Can anyone assist to confirm if I can exit/return using E-Gates.

So do I and flights to the capital are busy.

Only saying what I saw and also I know many Cambodian friends in SIEM REAP and they say business is bad.

I have honestly no skin in the game so my feedback is honest

What I will tell you members is I've removed a considerble amount of money from Cambodia.

The reason being they have reduced rates by so much on term deposit I get far better from Chase UK and it's backed by government guarantee.

That is not the case in Cambodia.

Thailand - don't even bother with placing money on term deposit.

Chase UK, the American giants are currently paying 4.5% interest for new customers per annum
