Trump Praises "Strong" Talks With Iran to End the War

A troubling situation. When an unintelligent and aggressive individual initiates conflict, it often takes time for them to recognize the consequences of their actions. In many cases, such individuals are surrounded by others who reinforce their poor judgment.

My concern is (I’m sure many others share it) trump is sure to understand that his normal lying isn’t working any longer and he just might perhaps will take everything down with him.I doubt he sleeps well he must realize he’s in deep trouble.

I hope this is true, Governor.

Trump Praises "Strong" Talks With Iran to End the War, while the Iranians say he's full of s**t and that no negotiations are taking place.

Personally, I believe the Iranians.

This is the Twitter account of the Iranian embassy in South Africa trolling Trump for his claims of "strong talks".

Trump Praises "Strong" Talks With Iran to End the War

Lying to manipulate the stock market and oil futures while no doubt cashing in on the timing of his own announcements.
Trump's a piece of work. He'll throw the entire nation under the bus if it pads his own stock portfolios and bank accounts.

So Trump is stalling Iran until Friday, until the troops are in place, and then after market close he’ll say Iran messed up the negotiations to justify a ground invasion.

Anyone wanna bet against this happening? If that's the plan then I beg the armed forces of the US to do this:

True that. Same thing with ukraine. Their aggressive and hostile demeanour, tormenting russian-language minorities for years, breaking international agreements, paying tributes to genocidal scums like bandera and schuhevytch, lying about their history, decades of inner corruption and neglecting own people put them into this situation when Putin had to start deratization on this evil land.

I didn't understand what you wrote so I pumped it through Claude in the style of Larkin - it's a lot better.

"The Invaded" - Philip Larkin Style Poem

They say it's simple: one side good, one bad— The television tells us who to blame.

But talk to those who've actually been had By both, and moral certainty looks lame.

"They tormented Russian speakers," someone said, "For years. Broke treaties.

Worshipped fascist thugs— Bandera, Shukhevych—their statues fed A nationalism built on hate, not hugs."

"Corruption ate the state from inside out, Oligarchs grew fat while pensioners went cold.

They lied about their history, no doubt, And sold their people's future to be sold."

And so the argument: "It had to come— Putin's invasion, just deratization."

A word that makes the liberal conscience numb: Not war, but pest control across a nation.

But here's the thing that Larkin would have seen: However vile a government may be,

However nationalist, corrupt, obscene— That doesn't make invasion something free.

The people crushed beneath the tank's advance Weren't policy-makers.

Just folk who live In tower blocks, who never had a chance To choose which scum would rule them.

Narrative Demands we pick a side and wave a flag— Ukraine's a saint, or Ukraine asked for this.

But truth's more like the ending of The Whitsun Weddings—drag, Confusion, something lost we'll always miss.

Yes, Ukraine's government was corrupt and cruel, Whitewashed its fascist past, oppressed its east.

And yes, the West used it as NATO's tool, And yes, its oligarchs had quite a feast.

But that's not why the tanks rolled over borders. That's not what killed the pensioner in Mariupol's flat.

Wars don't get better when you fix the orders Of blame. They're <deleted>. And this one's just like that.

Larkin would have hated both the lies: The West's pretense that Ukraine was pristine,

And Russia's claim that genocide justifies Killing the very people it says it will clean.

He'd see two empires fighting over land, Two sets of propaganda, two corrupt elites,

And millions caught between, who didn't plan To die for flags or oligarchs' balance sheets.

So here we are: the invaded and the invader,

Both with blood-stained hands and righteous claims.

The truth's not comfort.

It's a slow betrayer Of every side that plays these <deleted> games.

Trump is lying, he and the US are incapable of serious negotiation and Iran's now been burnt twice as negotiations were used as a trap to kill Iranian leadership, so he is well and seriously screwed. This goes way more kinetic before its settled, and I could imagine this doesn't resolve until after the midterms when the Democrats sweep the House and Senate and they take back there War Powers from Trump. So it will be oil up to $150+ once the markets understands that Trump happy-talk is not the hard realities of true market mechanics and supply and demand.

He bankrupted every business he ever had and now he wants to bankrupt the world. It would be funny if it wasn't tragic - actually it's both. FAFO Iranian style - Iran has just hit 'warehouses' in the Negev which house Israeli defence intelligence, Ramon airbase for stealth bombers and other tinned pineapple chunks as well as 'nuclear' research nearby. With missiles that have been destroyed against the world's best layered air defence. As it says in the Bible how the mighty have fallen.

The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen! 2 Samuel 1:19

America has always been the first on the lines to start wars...but rarely winning any or even enabling to stop any. Nothing new be it Trump or no Trump. Israel on the other hand, despite their horrific undeniable war crimes and illegal land grabbings...Israel to some extent is nevertheless cleaning up all the terrorist proxys and getting rid of terrorist masterminds in the region.

But the main point here is that the sunny days seem over for Dubai, Qatar and the other bling-bling nations. It will take years to get back the trust from any intelligent investor or the wealthy. They are all moving to safer and neutral havens like Switzerland.

In the meantime the only outcome here to prevent a global shutdown would be to open up the cheap russian oil and gas to the global markets. There is definately no other way out, unless of course America wants a global crisis that will hurt America in the first place.

Leavitt has just done a Presser at the WH in which she said if Iran didn't accept they had lost then they would face hell from Trump. Better get ready for gas quues and $8 gallons in the US. they should send the last Ayatollah's mangled head in a box to Trump as a troll. The Iraqi militias are all getting tooled up as well they want to go hunting with their Iranian pals.

Oh I thought there were strong talks going on, I must have misread that.

Trump Urges Iran to Negotiate a Deal Before It Is ‘Too Late’

“They better get serious soon, before it is too late, because once that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it won’t be pretty!” Trump posted on social media Thursday.

The president’s comments come as Washington has been insisting that peace talks are ongoing, despite Tehran publicly rejecting overtures from the US and instead issuing conditions of its own.

“They are ‘begging’ us to make a deal, which they should be doing since they have been militarily obliterated, with zero chance of a comeback, and yet they publicly state that they are only ‘looking at our proposal.’ WRONG!!!,” the president said, echoing comments he made at a fundraiser on Wednesday.

You and your Iranian sock puppet ilk are like the hysterical fans of an 0-14 football getting beat 64-0 in the 4th and critisizing every play call of the team absolutely destroying you.

Once again, conforming to the formula, when you've got nothing, make it personal.

How is Israel cleaning up the terrorist masterminds and the US not? I'm thinking they've been working together, backing each other's actions. The US has taken out quite a few terrorists in the last few decades who would have continued their assault on many innocents if it didn't happen.

Because Mossads mission is to kill terrorists and anti semites and they are the best at it.

When the comparison is irrelevant, why bother?

You actually think they will sink a US ship? The more they push the US, the more damage will occur until there aren't any military left on their side. Funny how some are so against the US they actually want a terrorist regime to win, which will never happen.

Well at the moment i'd say Iran is holding all the cards fred. As far as i can see Trump is cornered he either defeats Iran totally and ending there Nuclear capabililty for once and for all, or by putting boots on the ground. If he backs down and loses what cedibility he has as a leader and the rest of the world will see all along what a leader he was.
