i dont know when it happened excatly, but the portions at fuji have decreased substantially. i ordered the salmon menti last night and it was honestly half the size that it was last time except the price was the same. i also ordered mussels with garlic which used to be 90 baht, now 110 baht. My wife ordered the fresh crab which used to be 65 baht and is now 85 baht and the portion is still smaller. We ordered a bento set and again, the portion is smaller then it used to be. The restaurant was packed so I guess Thai people havent noticed or dont care.

Yeah, this is generally the case with all restos. Fuji still remains one of my fav restos in LOS. As mentioned still good value however...especially the lunch sets. I mean, a full meal for B110-B120 (US$ 3-4!!). Usually, portions are pretty standard but have noticed sometimes it varies...sometimes my piece of pork in a tonkatsu set is quite big and sometimes just normal. Also, the size and quantity of pieces of pork in my butatem salads seems to be very variable. However, worst thing for me is I have become addicted to the soft-shell crab rolls...and they are one of the most expensive items at around B160 or B180 (forget) for 4 pieces :o

I thought maybe just a coincidence at the time, but I noticed a portion size reduction on my last visit to Fuji at Central Sala Daeng. I had a Katsu-Don and the bowl was a bit more than half full. Not only did it look odd (I felt like asking where's the other half?), but in the past it used to be full to about the brim. If I hadn't been with a group that ordered appetizers it wouldn't have been enough.
