Thai wife has UK holiday evisa. My understanding is that she can travel to Irish republic but must enter UK first and then can travel from UK to Republic of Ireland. Can anyone confirm this? Have tried email Irish embassy in BKK but no reply.

Also, can she depart Ireland for Europe, or does she have to return to IK and travel onwards to Europe, she has a Schengen visa also?
