Famously Trump's Dad sent Donald away to military school at age 13.

The experience there shaped the "man" we know today as the most corrupt president in American history.

For the purposes of this poll imagine that you had a teenaged son with similar character and behavior as Trump. How would YOU respond?

Pick the choice closest to what you feel you'd do. I can't possibly list all the possible choices.

If NONE of the choices are anywhere close to what you'd do, then comment about that here.

Some background on the topic:

As it happened with Trump --

www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/trump-the-bully-how-childhood-military-school-shaped-the-future-president/

Buy a Maserati. There is no worse punishment if you want to torture someone between hope and despair, with an inevitable conclusion of penury. It will have to be one of those Biturbos that sort of looked like a Mk4 Cortina with similar resale value. I wouldn't go so low though as to get a "Chrysler TC by Maserati". The heavy steering might be too much for his tiny hands, and there is a chance he might get a work out as a result. So on second thoughts......

Assuming it was a normal middle class family nothing would need to be done, anyone who behaved like trump would have their face bashed in and or be in prison for the many frauds. The main thing that has protected trump is wealth, without it he’s nothing but a 2 bit con man bilko artist.

Trump may have become a very different person in a healthier environment. He appears to have been shaped by pressure, humiliation, and a constant demand for toughness.

Obama’s jokes may have hurt him more than we know, but that remains speculation.

What is easier to see is that Trump has long blamed Obama for the country’s decline and repeatedly tried to dismantle much of Obama’s work, making resentment a visible part of both his politics and his character.

Teenage daughter might be a better comparison

I remember a clinical Psychologist I shared a taxi with. He had done a lot of work in jails. He said most criminals were actually shaped by their childhoods.

However, he said there were also people for which there was no evidential explanation. They were simply evil.

The evidence with Trump points towards his father, who constantly belittled him.

When Trump vindictively goes after someone who opposes him, perhaps it's his father that he is trying to destroy.

If my son was the victim of repeated false smears and vile hoaxes by a deranged cult I'd be reaching for the Louisville Slugger.

Yea he’s a crybaby of the first order doesn’t accept criticism is vindictive and pouty yup excellent analogy fits the adolescent teen girl persona to a tee!!

Make him work cleaning toilets at a Truckstop76 on the Interstate in Keokuk, Iowa until he acts like a real man, rather than a petulant child.

The alternative is petition your Congressperson to allow post-natal abortion. That would have saved the country and the planet lots of misery.

In your "unusual" world, just what would those "repeated false smears and vile hoaxes" be?

Most sane and rational people seemed to have missed them.

Please back up your claims with evidence.

That should be amusing....a window into the cerebral asylum of a cult member.

BUT STAY the HELL OUT of politics and move out of the country.

As I suspected, you've got nothing. Some of your examples don't even have anything to do with the felon.

There was no "Russia Hoax". His campaign willingly cooperated with Russia. The Republican SSCI report noted the meeting and handover of detailed internal polling data by Campaign Chair Manafort to GRU Asset Kilimnik.

Trump stole highly classified documents. He lied about returning them. He should have been put in jail awaiting trial. (Perhaps you can tell me why Trump needed HCS docs at his country club?)

Trump literally called his Goobers to DC for 6 January 2021. He riled them up and told them to march to the Capitol. If you try to argue he is too stupid to know his mob would turn violent, you might lose your MAGA membership card.

Trump did say some of the tikitorch marchers, who chanted "Jews will not replace us" were "very fine people". Ask Gary Cohn, the Goldman Sachs partner who served as an adviser to Trump in his first Admin.

Trump absolutely DID make fun of a reporter with cerebral palsy.

Some of what Trump did is illegal, some just tasteless. Criminality and tastelessness are his brand.

And therein lies the danger of hoaxes on gullible minds. They get hardwired into the cranial cavity. 😅

What exactly has he done in his time as President and in relation to his obligations as President that makes him "the most corrupt President in history"?

It's a trick question. If a child acts the way he does, it's a reflection on his parents, or lack of them being around. A child acting this way wouldn't matter to the parent as they are the ones who taught him his behavior, and it would seem to be normal watching the child act the same way they do, unless of course one parent was a good caregiver while the other was a narcissist who took advantage of everyone in the family, either by abuse, neglect or spoiling, which Trump was dealt at least two of.

Sometimes the child will grow up with a good heart, as long as they had that one decent parent who was with them the majority of the time. In a few cases, sociopaths, those with ASPD, are born that way, but it's rare. Genetics are part of it, but the environment triggers the development most times.

In the case of MAGA's, it's the lizard brain. The neocortex misses out.

A wonderful precis of the English-speaking countries' experiences with Italy's mobile cracked-leather seated, electrical system held together by rust and perished rubber.
Nice.

Not a "military school" for rich spoilt kids.

Boot camp. Then forced to the marines, regardless that he wouldn't be accepted.

Honor and honesty only would count to get out of this torture.

Dreaming is nice and costs nothing :).

Nothing, other than the 30 odd examples of leftist hoaxes against Trump I wrote to jog your memory? Each and every one was a hill to die on episode for team left. Each and every one aged like a bag of prawns in the sun.

Here it is again, should be pinned to stop those that forced these vile hoaxes on us from looking around, whistling, and saying "i don't remember any of this" 😅
