Manny Pacquiao has firmly dismissed Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s claims that their upcoming fight scheduled for September is merely an exhibition. Pacquiao emphasized that both fighters agreed to a professional bout, and the contracts reflect this understanding. Mayweather's recent statements contradict an earlier announcement by Netflix, which labeled the event as a professional match.

Mayweather suggested the fight location was undecided, mentioning The Sphere as a potential venue. He characterized the event as an exhibition, implying it would not affect their professional records. However, MP Promotions warned of a contractual breach if Mayweather fails to honor the agreement for a professional fight, citing multiple signed agreements and financial transactions.

MP Promotions highlighted that Mayweather signed three agreements related to his return to professional boxing, with payments disbursed for each. Jas Mathur, president of MP Promotions, underscored these agreements signify Mayweather's commitment to a legitimate fight, not an exhibition.
