Hello , Asking for a friend:
US Passport,
Entered with 60 day visa free @ BKK + 30 day extension.
Visa extension ends 13 Apr

Are they able to apply for another extension of stay?
Would it be a 30 or 60 day extension if granted
Any further docs?

Entered visa exempt.

That provides only one 30 day extension. There is on top of that a 60 day extension to " Visit Thai family"

Even that is problematic currently..

So will have current stay of 90 days.

Understood, they would need to leave TH.

Would they be able to do a 'quick' holiday and fly in on 60 days ?

As it is songkran and the dates coincide (ie. visa extension ends 13/4)

Without previous history eg back to back visa exempt entry they should be fine.

Suggest "quick holiday" More than day or two.

USA pp would require eVisa to Vietnam but would still be my suggestion.

Where are they located.

A border run with valid agent would be option and perhaps direct turn around

That's why I asked.

A border run from Bangkok currently with Cambodia land borders unavailable.. Horrible to Laos

Thinking best option is flight out and return. That could be visa exempt or obtain setv eVisa out of Thailand..

As I stated depends on plan of length of stay
