US Intel: Iran Has Thousands of Missiles and Could Retrieve Launchers

Iran Has Thousands of Missiles and Could Retrieve Launchers, U.S. Intelligence Finds

Iran still has thousands of ballistic missiles in its arsenal that it could use by retrieving launchers from underground storage areas, according to American officials familiar with U.S. intelligence assessments.

The assessments come as the U.S. is working to cement a cease-fire that would fully open the Strait of Hormuz and also insulate Iran, American troops and states in the region from further attacks.

Some American officials said they are concerned that Iran will use the break in fighting to reconstitute some of its missile arsenal.

What are the names of these officials? Which agency did the assessment? Are there other competing assessments?

Carry on with your edition of Tehran Tommy's basic technique "If It Supports Iran and Can Be Used to Attack Trump, America and Western Civilization it is True no Matter What".

Of course there are competing assessments. You know, the ones that the government publicizes. In your world, track records don't count. This isn't some loon on the internet. This comes from Rupert Murdoch's Wall St. Journal. They have a big stake in getting things right.

Got it. Journalists that write a story that pleases your worldview are good journalists.

When they please you.

Iranians would be stupid not to get everything ready , this war is not finished.

Who says the waters are mined ? what happens when the minesweepers are hit with drones and missiles ?

obliterate resistance how ? 90 million people are a lot to obliterate don't you think ?

White House says devastating attacks on Iran have strengthened its hand in coming talks, but some officials say Iran could still field more missiles

WSJ not particularly convincing recently.

It's like saying: my missus might finally win the lottery this week.

Resistance isn't the general public but the regime's military. Seeing only about 25% of Iranians oppose the US, that's not the 90 million you're thinking about.

Where on earth did you get that data (hasbara) from ?

I doubt very much that the Iranian people are in favour of a regime that

threatens to send them back to the stone age and wipe out their entire civilisation !

Online, easy to find. Iranians have been trying to change their regime for decades, and thousands have died protesting. Very easy to find, and I think some here never see beyond a few opinions and not the truth. Trump's threats are just that, meant to scare the regime into giving up. He has no intention to kill civilians but is just talking sh*t like always. Actions speak louder than words.

The majority of Iranians may have been pro-american before the war. But given the widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure and the poverty and misery that will ensue. It's dubious that they still hold a favorable view of the Trump administration anymore. Remember when Trump said he wouldn't settle for anything less than unconditional surrender of the Iranian regime? And now he's claiming that has happened. Do you think the Iranian people buy that BS?

I think there is much BS in many media outlets, so it's hard to tell what the truth is until it all ends. Looking at daily videos of Iranians celebrating in Iran and worldwide shows they've for what's happening, and have been waiting decades for something to happen for a change. It's not easy to weight the damage against what positives will happen, as it all costs money.

You're the one who made the claim about only 25% of Iranians oppose the US. And what I've seen lately is a lot of exiled Iranians who formerly supported the war now protesting the destruction and misery that it has brought to their friends and family.

I've been watching videos every night before bed, coming from all over, Iranians celebrating. It appears it's close to being evenly divided with some saying more Iranians in Iran are for the actions. It's hard to tell what the real truth is as many are likely biased, so as always, it's going to be the endgame showing the positives and negatives.

So are you saying that people living in the stone age are running rings around the mighty US armed forces?

No wonder you're cranky!😂

PS. I thought the Iranians were defeated weeks ago, and that their military was completely wiped out. Is this not true??

For those of you (I'm looking at you MAGA) that don't understand what's happening in Iran and why, here's the real story where the US and Britain overthrew the democracy so they could get the oil,

Ever wonder why the talking heads say Iran has been killing Americans for how many years? Well guess what happened just before they got angry and started killing them ..

AI Overview

In August 1953, the US CIA and British intelligence orchestrated "Operation Ajax," a covert coup that overthrew Iran's democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh to secure Western oil interests and prevent Soviet influence. The coup reinstated Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, consolidating his autocratic rule and solidifying his alliance with the US until the 1979 Revolution.

Key Details of the 1953 Coup:

  • The Motive: Mossadegh nationalized Iran’s British-owned oil industry in 1951, causing major losses for the UK and raising Cold War fears in the US that Iran would turn toward the Soviet Union.

  • The Operation (Ajax): Led by CIA operative Kermit Roosevelt Jr., the plot involved bribery, propaganda, and hiring street thugs to create chaos in Tehran.

  • The Outcome: Following an initially failed attempt, a CIA-backed military uprising on August 19, 1953, resulted in 200–300 deaths. Mosaddegh was arrested and later died under house arrest.

  • Long-Term Impact: The Shah’s return to power created severe resentment against Western interference, fueling the 1979 revolution that overthrew him and installed a theocracy.

Forget about that. When Saddam Hussein launched a war against Iran, he had the USA's full support. The fact that he was using chemical weapons against the Iranians didn't deter the Reagan administration from helping him. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians died. The same goes for Iraqis.

All nice, even for a dead mullah, but so now ...who controls the Strait!

Hey haters Trump owns the strait of hormuz. LOL... how about that haters! Trump resorts, hotels and golf courses to follow. Feckless iranians and all you haters.
