Fatty Liver Disease Is Rising Globally: Best Foods to Eat and Foods to Avoid Now

Fatty liver disease is becoming more common across the world, affecting adults and younger people alike. It often develops quietly, especially in people with excess weight, insulin resistance, or poor metabolic health. Because symptoms may be mild at first, many people only learn about it after routine blood tests or scans.

Best foods to eat are non processed, food that is not packaged.

Anything that's fresh, not in a packet it's good.

All drinks are in a packet. Tuna is in a tin. Almonds are in a packet. Yoghurt is in a packet. Dark chocolate is in a packet. Frozen berries are in a packet.

Since when is water in a packet

When I'm in the supermarket my tuna is fresh on display

Why eat frozen berries, I eat them fresh.

OK, I think you know now why you will die early.

Frozen berries contain more nutrients. Your fresh idea is bs. Fruit rots. Fish go bad. Frozen fish is safer to eat.

  • Nutrient Preservation: Freezing acts as a "pause button," locking in vitamins (like B12) and minerals at their peak.

  • Omega-3 Stability: Research indicates that Omega-3 fatty acids are highly stable when frozen. In contrast, "fresh" fish can lose up to 15% of its Omega-3 content within just 48 hours of being caught if not stored perfectly.

2. The "Fresh" Illusion

Unless you live dockside or are catching it yourself, "fresh" fish has likely been in transit for several days.

  • Degradation: From the moment a fish dies, enzymes and bacteria begin breaking down the muscle tissue. By the time a "fresh" fillet reaches a supermarket in a non-coastal city, it may be 5–10 days old.

Get out of your place and go to either a local market, 7/11 or supermarket and see how real products are sold rather than getting your food delivered to your place.

Agreed.

As long as the local "fresh" produce is well cleaned, where required, before eating/processing!

The 24-Hour "Vitamin Drop"

Green beans have a very high metabolic rate after they are picked. Research shows that fresh green beans can lose up to 25% of their Vitamin C after just 24 hours at room temperature. By the time they reach a supermarket shelf and then sit in your crisper drawer for three days, they are significantly less "vitally" dense than they were at harvest.

2. Peak Ripeness

Frozen beans are picked at their nutritional peak. Store-bought "fresh" beans are often picked early to survive the rigors of shipping, meaning they never reached their full nutrient potential to begin with.

Sold in bottles. Coconut water is in carton. Soy milk is in a carton. Cottage cheese is in a container. Vegemite is in a jar at 24% protein and b vitamins

Meat and liver are the main fresh foods that are good.

Frozen fruit and veges are superior to the so called fresh stuff.

I don't think his death will be anything to do with his eating habits. More likely to be assassinated.....

Red herring—which is herring that has been salted and smoked until it turns a deep mahogany—is a nutritional powerhouse, particularly for those focused on high-performance recovery and muscle maintenance. Because the smoking and drying process removes water, the nutrients that remain are highly concentrated.
