Zoobic Safari, located in the Subic Bay Freeport, offers a unique and interactive eco-tourism experience, setting itself apart from typical zoos. Established in 2003 by Zoobic Safari Corp., the 25-hectare park immerses visitors in close-up wildlife encounters, highlighted by its exclusive tiger safari. This experience allows guests to ride in a safari jeep through a tiger habitat, where they can feed and observe the animals safely.

The park also features Croco Loco, home to approximately 200 crocodiles that guests can view from above and participate in feeding sessions. Visitors can interact with various other animals, including deer, ostriches, and lions, and enjoy cultural insights on the Aetas Trail, showcasing the history and talent of the local indigenous Aeta people.

According to SBMA data, Zoobic Safari significantly boosts tourist arrivals, contributing to a rise in tourism numbers. In 2025, tourist visits rose to 1.15 million overnight guests and 10.70 million day-trippers, compared to 2024's 1.09 million and 10.49 million, respectively.

Experts indicate that such attractions help increase ecological and cultural awareness among the public. The growing interest in eco-tourism and unique wildlife experiences suggests a promising outlook for regional tourism and economic development.

Looking ahead, Zoobic Safari plans to enhance its offerings to further attract both domestic and international visitors. Expansion and innovation remain focal points as the park continues to balance entertainment with education and conservation.
