I came across an article where an airline pilot was describing this product.

Apparently, it discharged the body's electricity by "earthing" while sleeping on this bedsheet.

Seems this reduces the inflammation in the body, thereby reducing fatigue, aches and pain etc

Difficult to believe. But has anyone ever heard about it?

Sounds a bit psychosomatic and there's nothing wrong with that if one feels good or better. Can only be beneficial and the prices seem reasonable......

I used to sleep just a few centimetres from the ground on a futon for ages and there is something about being close to the ground. If the Japanese do, it's gotta be good right..?!.................

I have been using a grounding mat since early last year. Within a few weeks, I found my sleep was noticeably deeper - and I couldn't attribute that to anything other than placing a grounding mat on the bed. It was a relatively small outlay for the grounding mat for what I consider is a big benefit so I'm very happy with it. I would wholeheartedly recommend grounding mats to anyone considering one.

There is one thing you need to consider. I use my grounding mat in New Zealand and that is relevant - as the grounding mat must be plugged in to an earthed power socket. In Thailand, I don't remember ever seeing an earth socket in power points, certainly there weren't any in the apartments I lived in, or my place of work. The alternative to plugging the grounding mat into an earthed socket is a cable which runs from the mat, out the window, with a rod at the end which is placed into the dirt / ground outside. The grounding mat MUST be earthed either via an earthed power socket or a rod physically in the ground to work.
