Henry Nowak Stabbing Death Sparks Riots And Political Firestorm

Fury Erupts As Henry Nowak Protests Turn Violent Across Britain

Thousands Rally After Shocking Video Bodycam Footage Emerges

More than 1,000 demonstrators descended on Southampton on Tuesday night as public anger over the death of teenager Henry Nowak boiled over into violent clashes with police.

Protesters gathered outside Southampton Central Police Station carrying Union Jack flags and banners demanding justice for the 18-year-old student, whose final moments were captured in disturbing police bodycam footage released earlier this week.

The footage showed Henry repeatedly telling officers "I can't breathe" after being stabbed six times, only to be handcuffed and treated as a suspect while his alleged attacker's account was initially accepted by police.

"I Can't Breathe" Chants Echo Through Southampton

As crowds gathered outside the station, hundreds chanted "I can't breathe" in reference to Henry's desperate pleas in the moments before his death.

The demonstration quickly escalated as some protesters hurled wheelie bins, beer cans and flares towards riot police. Officers in protective gear formed barricades around the station as tensions rose throughout the evening.

Video shared online showed crowds surging against police lines while chanting "Justice for Henry".

Home Secretary Condemns Disorder

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood appealed for calm, describing the violence as "completely unacceptable".

She urged the public to respect the wishes of Henry's family, who have repeatedly called for his death not to be used to inflame divisions or hatred.

"There can be no justification for hijacking this tragedy to stir up violence and disorder," she said.

Mahmood also revealed that an officer wrongly identified online as being involved in the case had received death threats and was forced to relocate for the safety of his family.

Fury Focuses On Fatal Police Mistake

Public outrage exploded after footage emerged showing officers arresting Henry after they were allegedly misled by his killer, Vickrum Digwa.

Digwa falsely claimed the teenager had racially abused him, assaulted him and pulled off his turban.

The claims were later completely rejected by the trial judge, who stated he was certain Henry had said nothing racist.

Despite suffering catastrophic stab wounds, Henry was handcuffed as he repeatedly told officers he had been stabbed. At one point an officer responded: "I don't think you have mate."

The teenager died shortly afterwards.

Political Firestorm Intensifies

The case has sparked fierce political debate.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said Henry had been treated as though an accusation of racism was more important than the fact he had been stabbed.

Former Home Secretary Robert Jenrick described the footage as "harrowing", while Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer admitted watching the video made him "feel sick".

Kemi Badenoch has also demanded answers over how the dying teenager came to be treated as a suspect rather than a victim.

Police Under Growing Pressure

One officer involved in the incident has since resigned, while three others remain serving officers.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct is investigating the actions of those present that night, including the decision to handcuff Henry and the medical assistance provided.

Hampshire Police has apologised to the Nowak family for the arrest and acknowledged the seriousness of the concerns raised.

However, the force has also warned against misinformation and threats directed at officers.

Family Pleads For Unity

Despite the mounting anger, Henry's father Mark Nowak has urged the public not to allow his son's death to fuel further division.

Speaking after Digwa was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years, he said the family wanted justice but did not want Henry's memory used to spread hatred.

As investigations continue, pressure is mounting on police chiefs, ministers and watchdogs to explain how a fatally wounded teenager ended up in handcuffs while the man who stabbed him was initially treated as the victim.

This is what anti-racism and 2 tier justice leads to.
Police more concerned with 'racism' than policing.

Wonder if they'll burn any police stations down?

Looks like the war of ethnic cleansing in the UK is about to kick off.

Glad I'm not there.

Would also add the new idea of handcuffing anyone they are questioning in the street seems wrong to me.

How can the police be allowed to do this?

Seems the UK social engineers are attempting to engeneder a race war.
It would give them the excuse for emergency powers to gain more powers and to snoop even harder on the population.

Once you reaise these people are malicious, everything that has been going on on England etc. makes sense.

Having watched the video yesterday, it is completely beyond my comprehension that the police decided to handcuff the poor soul bleeding out on the floor.

You cannot expect the police to have known the severity of his wounds on arrival, but why handcuff a lad on the floor that is obviously so badly incapacitated, that he cannot move, let alone stand; what possible danger could he pose.

Absolutely appalling incompetence from the police.

The Police were told he was drunk , so handcuffed him so he couldn't lash out and attack them . The Police didn't know he was dying ,they just thought he was drunk

When arriving on a scene, they usually separate the 2 parties and get both sides of the story, then confer before deciding on how to proceed. Here, they just listened to one side, with unfortunate results.

It does seem they are trying to socially engineer something and mould public feeling with the extensive news coverage of this.

Also the importation of millions of incompatible grugs and orcs every year makes no sense unliess you realise 'they' are malicious and hate native whites.

The murder happened a good while ago - This Henry story was suppressed until recently. If this was white on brown or someone on jew there'd have been a national equiry announced already, new ambulances at taxpayers xpense for that communiity (only) and millions sprayed around to ensure 'tHiS mUsT nEveR hAppEn aGain'
Since the guty was white, the oFfiCeRs aren't even supended.

Maybe you should watch the video, disturbing and harrowing though it is; because you cannot possibly have watched it to have made such a comment.

Nothing to do with the video, the Sikh made a phone call to the Police saying a drunk man had just attacked them, the Police arrived at the scene expecting to find a drunk man and found semi conscious man lying on the floor , who they would assume was drunk

Nothing to do with the video, you are kidding right ? have you not watched it ?

That not withstanding, where did you get the information that the police were told the victim was drunk, because I can’t find it myself ?

I have listened to the recording of the brothers 999 call and this a transcript published in the Metro:

Speaking to officers, his brother Gurpreet repeated the claims, telling a 999 operator: “Yeah, we’ve just been attacked racially. Yeah, this f***er. Yeah, we just got attacked racially by some white person.”

Nothing about him being drunk, so where did that info come from please; and why would any police office assume that someone lying on the ground that had been involved in an altercation be drunk and not injured …… Thanks

A slight error on my part :

When the Police arrived at the scene , they spoke to Sikh man who told them Nowak was drunk , and they then saw Nowak laying on the floor

"It is admitted that Nowak, already weak from knife wounds, was trying to reach help when the police arrived. The evidence is that, having arrived, the police interviewed both parties; told that Nowak had started a drunken fight and racially abused Digwa, they immediately handcuffed him."

Which Sikh man told the police he was drunk (which he wasn't) and why would they believe that when he was lying on the floor incapable of any voluntary movement saying "I've been stabbed" or I can't breath"

Disgraceful behaviour from the main police officer, who has I believe subsequently resigned

Charge them all as accessories to murder, jail them for 10 years each to serve full sentences with no remission.

The police have been out of control in the UK for years and they need to be taught a sharp lesson.

Indeed; anything to say about the disgraceful behaviour of the police officers that handcuffed Henry Nowak, which led to this protest ?

Nah, didn’t think so, two-tier outrage; can guess who you vote for.

Yes I do (and have posted elsewhere). They acted appallingly and have apologised. The independent police enquiry will hopefully establish whether handcuffing Henry was a result of 'racism' or a genuine misunderstanding. Once the officers realised their mistake, they took appropriate action, although regrettably it was too late.

The mother of Henry Nowak’s killer has been jailed for three years after removing her son’s murder weapon from the scene.

Vickrum Digwa stabbed the university student with a large knife in the street in Southampton then handed the 8in blade to Kiran Kaur, 53, his mother.

.

Kaur, who had made her way to the murder scene, took the knife and ran back to the family home nearby to stash it, a court previously heard. She was arrested later that night and the knife was found a week after the killing.

Digwa’s mother has been sentenced to three years after being found guilty of assisting an offender at Southampton crown court.

Sentencing Kaur, Judge William Mousley KC said: “A responsible parent would have challenged their son over their actions and encourage them to do the right thing.

“Instead you took the knife home and put it with a larger collection of ceremonial and other weapons in your son’s bedroom.

“That would have helped to conceal what it had been used for.”
