Especially interesting is the annual limit, In Baht it is about (from left to right) 5,140,000 Mln. Baht per condition, 15,000,000 Mln Baht altogether per year and 5,020,000 per condition per year...

How much can a high level treatment for a severe accident with months in the hospital be?

Provide your medical history from your Dr then they shouldn't be able to find a pre existing condition at a later date

I do not have a specific doctor, but half a year ago I thought with a little pain in the chest I had a heart attack. So I rushed to a nearby hospital. They did a troponin check, which came back negative, they did a heart exercise check (with all these strips attached to the body) and finally a x-ray of the heart, cost was about 11,000 Baht for everything incl. doctor fees. Everything was negative, they said my heart is healthy like from a 50 year old, they did not find any issues, so I can mention this incident?

If you have even visited a doctor or hospital in the last 5 years that can be used to deny a claim as it could be a pre existing condidtion even if nothing was found, for piece of mind get a international policy from your home country with decent legal protections, if a policy is much cheaper than elswhere there is a reason for that.

Pacific Cross was my first choice some years ago. However, they WILL FIND some flaws when they sent you for a test into a hospital. Some forgotten scars on your body, even decades old, will cause them to reject you. And YOU paid for the test. Not Pacific Cross.

Finally I bought a sufficient insurance with WRLife. As long you don't have issues, quite decent rates. No increase in old age. Just in case for the inevitable I bought it.

The more transparent you are the less likely they will find pre existing conditions at a later date and deny the claim. I agree with the poster above, better to get a policy from your home country

Provide "everything to them". It will be a pain in the butt because they will ask for follow up info but if you don't you aren't purchasing insurance. You just are paying for something that may or may not pay out. You most likely will need to get more tests on your heart but maybe not. Also, them telling you your heart is as healthy as a 50 year old doesn't mean much. My bet is you are going to get some exclusions. Post your test results here but understand if you decide not to. What type of heart test? I bet it was an echo (~10,000) which is pretty detailed and catches most issues and especially if the facility used AI with the echo.

I have enough money not to worry about the 100k baht type of emergencies but 3-5 million would be a real bummer. My deductible is ~100k baht with 4 mil coverage. I'm 59 and it only cost 14k baht a year with zero exclusions. I've had great experiences with local companies for obvious reasons IMO. Hospitals deal with these companies every hour of every day and they know the process. I'm using AXA that has a massive direct billing network and eases some of the anxiety caused by unfamiliarity with international payment systems.

Policies from home countries usually calculate health expenses from home countries, very few do have a policy calculated for Thailand. That can easily add up to 1.000 Euros per month for coverage in older years. Besides that most home country insurers will not accept you as a customer if you permanently live overseas.

There's example here of people using insurance back home. You pay more but more likely to pay claims

I got a Pacific Cross Policy (At that time it was called something like "Visa Friendly") the day before my 55th Birthday and there are no Medical Examinations if (IIRC) you're < 60

OP Check out Checkdi (Used to be called Mister Prakan) https://checkdi.com/intl/main?lg=en I pay 30K pa for 3.5Million THB/$100K Inpatiants cover with a 100,000 THB Deductable, don't have outpatients.

Well, I pay with 79 150.000 Baht/year without deductibles. However, you will know in any serious case how good your insurance is.

The best case is not being in a situation to need it.
