I think people are wishing they had voted for Kamala.

Agree on both counts, even though I don't vote. Harris for the 'ME ME ME' vote, as inflation & COLA if following Biden's #s would be very nice, 20+% in 4 years. DJT is doing an excellent job.

Says the guy who supports Karen Bass.

It's difficult to imagine anyone could be a worse president than Trump, maybe Tucker Carlson?

I had two, in the hope I could get within a few points of your IQ.

Exactly! Especially given her strong track record of success at....... (feel free to insert any signature Harris accomplishment here)

I think over time the American electorate will come to see Hillary Clinton's loss in the 2016 election as one of their most regrettable electoral missteps in all of American history.

success at ... good in bed, being a woman, multi racial: Indian for the CA voter, and Black for the Southern USA voter, in the national election.

And still failed miserably 🙄

Those were her pluses. Luckily she only dropped the ball a couple times. OK, more than a couple times, from G AI ...

100%. They've could have gotten a smart, strong, experienced president. Instead they chose the complete opposite.

This is typical yanks crying over split milk!! stop putting your head in the sand grow some balls and do something !! why is he not being thrown out !!

MAGA.. Make Americans Normal Again.

Not sure. He's a rat all right, but worse than Trump? That's gonna take a serious effort. Maybe someone like Stephen Miller. He might be worse.

Never fear, my friend. Only two years and a bit until you can relax under the JD Rubio administration.

Lack of education and racism. They also liked Trumps illiteracy, just one of them.

I agree there is a lack of racism in the US. Education? Perhaps.

And a lack of literacy among MAGA morons.

I have my doubts that either of them will run in 2028. Too much baggage accumulated during this utter disaster of a presidency, and it will be fresh in people's minds.

No way Trump is able or willing to try to turn it around. If he cannot cancel/corrupt the midterms he'll just try to hold on to the money he's scammed so far and ride into the sunset not giving a s**t. Doubt he'll last that long, though. He's obviously on a serious downward trajectory.

Vance and Rubio might run in 2032, but I seriously doubt they'll run together.

Your evidence being.....

I would take you more seriously if YOUR literacy and grammatical competence were a little better, to be honest. I can't make out what you meant by

You may be right. Two years is an eternity in politics.

Between the two, Rubio is getting the better reviews so far. As SofS, he can distance himself from any discussion of economic woes more easily than the VP.

They should make a constitutional amendment allowing Mark Carney to run in 2028. I seriously think he'd have a great chance at getting elected.

So impressed with that guy. No noise, no drama, just competently getting on with the (very difficult) job.

You prove it with every post.

I think I have said before, as a Conservative voter for the past several decades, Carney has been better than I had feared. Have to remember that he was first chosen by a Conservative PM to run the Bank of Canada back in the day. His time in Europe was troubling- he was making disturbing Globalist/WEF noises.

But since coming home I think he has rediscovered his roots. The Liberal Party under Trudeau had drifted far to the left of where most Canadians are comfortable. If Carney can get some big energy projects off the ground and improve the economy and national defence, I can overlook his occasional forays into lefty social policies. Plus he is the kind of guy Trump respects- good educational pedigree, economic chops, wealthy. Makes relations easier overall.

Can't expect perfection in a politician.

Can't expect perfection in anyone. But that doesn't mean one should vote for the complete opposite, like the Americans did twice.

Are people wishing they had voted for kamala?
A cackling half Indian, half Jamaican fermale import married to a jewish man?

She was never even meant to be a serious option (other than for women or coloreds).

Presidents are selected, NOT elected.

Matter of perception.

Hillary on paper was a great candidate. But the timing was bad. Two Bushes, then two Clintons? That is a hard sell. Plus parties rarely get 3 consecutive terms. She represented politics as usual, which is a losing hand.

Kamala was simply a disaster. Her first attempt at the party leadership in 2020 was a total embarrassment. She was picked for VP as an obvious gift to secure the black vote. As VP she was a non factor at best. And her campaign in 2024? A textbook example of how to fail. Biden fvcked the party by refusing to step aside after one term.

Do you strain at gnats and swallow camels regularly?

The United States needs multiparty presidential elections. I mean at least a real third party that pulls soft-core conservative Republicans into its ranks and conservative Democrats likewise. Have an election, and if no one candidate from the three parties gets 50% then have a runoff between the top two.

Glass ceilings have to remain intact at all costs, in fact if anything they should be re-enforced:

IMHO the whole Election system needs overhaul The Electoral College should be scrapped, candidate who loses the popular vote can still win the election. just stupid !
