Where to donate mobility aids?

Featured Replies

I have a wheelchair, walker and crutches (the underarm kind) that I don't need anymore and would like to donate. All are VERY lightly used (e.g. the wheelchair no more than half a dozen times). Where, preferably in Bangkok, might I donate them?

A temple is one option, they will most definitely go to someone who needs them.

^^ this

Congratulations on not needing them anymore

Getting around in a wheelchair is probably difficult in Europe with it's cobblestone and very difficult here due to lack of smooth sidewalks, footpaths etc

Cheers 🍻

My best friend in BKK needs all 3 for long term (ever)

Hope you can get them to Peter's friend. Mercy Foundation is also a good choice.

Well, I will arrive in Thailand in a few weeks, and I just bought a wheelchair, which I need for the airport. I am near BKK. I had 2 broken ankles, but good luck

I just bought a wheelchair before you posted, but I could do with a walker. I am in Ratchaburi
