Cervical cancer deaths fall to zero in young women given...

A new study finds that hundreds of lives have been saved since school-age girls were offered the HPV jab in 2008.

Interesting article from BBC /Lancet

Anti vaxers are quiet about this

The anti-vaxers are the same incels that MAGA consists of. They wouldn't know a cervix if it bit them on the nose.

Oh dear. This just won't do. Bound to offend certain forum vaccine experts. Quick, up with the carpet and fetch a broom.

That's weird as there is no such thing as a virus....never been seen, never been imaged, never been detected

Can only be the placebo effect......amazing!!!

Yes, agree.

Thanks for the article.

Let's get our anti vaxxer member @Red Phoenix to respond.

So am I an anti vaxxer then? I think the HPV vaccine is a great development, as were the BCG, tetanus, rabies, whooping cough, polio and other vaccines. I am just against covid response vaccines (although I had two (as required by my employer), but, thank God, no additional boosters - never had a flu vaccine either and never will).

I agree with your comments GarryP and I think folks at around our age were very lucky to have the vaccinations that were available to us when we were kids, especially the polio vaccine, and I was the carer for a kid who had contracted polio at an even younger age, and even though his legs were completely paralysed, we managed to have a few good times and laughs with me pushing his wheelchair around!

Like you, I had two or three Covid vaccinations and although I did get a mild dose of it, it was over and done with in a few days.

Much new research underway as regards cancer and I'm forever hopeful that this insidious disease will be forgotten in the annals of history when we finally conquer it.

Actually no, we are not. We are very vocal (and gaining traction, unlike the BBC).

I had my flu shot today and 6 COVID-19 shots

Would you have rabies jabs if bitten by a suspect dog?

The funny thing is that all these threads are because we declined to take the Covid vax. So much for “our body our choice” eh?

Post from "Rattlesnake".......If you’re thinking about giving your child the HPV shot, you need to see this video. Dr. Paul Thomas warns, “There will be more deaths from that [HPV] vaccine than there will ever be from cervical cancer. You just look at the number of studies and the number of deaths....

OLYMPIA, WA – In March 2023, Dr. Paul Thomas (License #60353591) entered into an agreed order that indefinitely suspends his Washington State medical license.

The WMC suspension was based on the Oregon Medical Board's action on Dr. Thomas license in that jurisdiction. Dr. Thomas surrendered his Oregon medical license due to unprofessional conduct; making false or misleading statements regarding the efficacy of treatments; and repeated gross negligence in the practice of medicine.

I''l follow the science, rather than a discredited doctor, thanks.

I would undergo any post-exposure treatment as required, indeed (though I fail to see the link with a prophylactic intervention).

Got any facts in your corner? Or is your post just another opinion of another's opinion which is an opinion of another's opinion? You know what I mean.... three opinions away from the truth?

Incredibly good news.

Now, who among us refuses to love vaccines?

Give them some time.... they can't just whip together a fantastical counterargument at the drop of a hat. 😢

I didn't remember it being Mike B Bad.

I guess in your extensive 'research' you never encountered the fact that the rabies vaccine is the ONLY treatment and it must be taken BEFORE any symptoms appear... otherwise death is almost assured, usually with a week.

No I think this was a sarcastic remark aimed at that particular poster!!

Absolutely. I work with animal and keep my rabies vaccinations up to date. However, there are some vaccines that I consider unnecessary, Covid vaccines being close to the top of the list. Also took Hep shots before I came to Thailand. However, my challenge that not all vaccines are necessary has gotten me labeled as a dastardly "Anti- Vaxxer" more than once. All vaccines should be taken after Informed Consent. mRNA vaccines are in their infancy and until their is at least 10 years of testing by Independent Research who are not associated in any way with vaccine manufacturers, I have not plans of consenting to take any shot based on an mRNA platform.

FYI.......

The Long History of mRNA Vaccines

Messenger RNA, or mRNA, was discovered in the early 1960s; research into how mRNA could be delivered into cells was developed in the 1970s. So, why did it take until the global COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 for the first mRNA vaccine to be brought to market?

The early years of mRNA research were marked by a lot of enthusiasm for the technology but some difficult technical challenges that took a great deal of innovation to overcome. The biggest challenge was that mRNA would be taken up by the body and quickly degraded before it could “deliver” its message—the RNA transcript—and be read into proteins in the cells.

The solution to this problem came from advances in nanotechnology: the development of fatty droplets (lipid nanoparticles) that wrapped the mRNA like a bubble, which allowed entry into the cells. Once inside the cell, the mRNA message could be translated into proteins, like the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, and the immune system would then be primed to recognize the foreign protein.
