Can I Get a New Phone Number on a Sim Card Stuck in a Phone?

Featured Replies

I discovered my sim tray could not be opened when on a visit to the States and ended up buying a new phone. Once back in Thailand I went to True and got a new SIM card with my old number for my new phone. I still have my old phone, with a SIM card stuck in it, and was wondering if a new number can be placed in the SIM card without the SIM card leaving the phone?

The phone does not have eSIM.

Thanks

Highly unlikely I would have thought. Surprised you did not ask True when you went there?

Can you not just take to a repairer and get them to crack it open to remove the sim (and repair the tray of course)?

No, get a shop to get the card out, maybe 200 baht if you DON'T go to tukcom Pattaya
