What are your thoughts on the chaos hours of 16:00-18:00?

Featured Replies

Not really laying anything down, but what are you thoughts on this time frame?

To me, it's when they release all the workers and the roads become chaos and dangerous because all and sundry are trying to get their dinner and beer/loa kow etc. within a small window of time and race home with their food in a plastic bag etc.

For me, I usually avoid this time of day to drive or do anything, as it's just ridiculously dangerous and full of those collecting little Billy/Jane from school etc., speedster chancers racing after work to get stuff and get home... really dangerous IMO.

What do you think or give any experiences/thoughts?.... Today I got some guy racing past my estate as I pulled out that wasn't in the view mirrors and missed by a fraction... facepalm.

Unless home or O&A at Nakhon Nowhere, I avoid driving anywhere after 1500 hrs, especially Krung Thep, or metro (Muang) areas. Nothing is worth that kind of stress.

At home, no prob, anywhere else, , Krung Thep or metro, if not walking distance, then I won't be visiting your venue.

We explore new sites, dining venues or shopping between 1100-1500 hrs and don't need to be in traffic anytime later.
