Changing the name does not result in the Department of War having no assets

alternatively, folks who obsessively hate trump dont live in reality. the donation of the plane in every respect is legal. no one can show a case or ruling otherwise as opposed to speculation from the trump hate crowd.

It is still the Department of Defense. Only Congress can change the name officially.

The Trump library will more than likely get the plane since it is a stopgap plane until Boeing finishes the two replacements. Just like the Reagan Library got the plane that he flew on, which was decommissioned after he left office.

Thanks! I really love to be proven wrong. I guess we'll know in two years if the Emir made it a personal gift or not. Although a poster above may be correct that it takes Congress to change a name, Dept of War is certainly more accurate.
