PS: Unexpected power cuts can be very annoying, which I why I share them. However, I only share info about power cuts in areas where foreigners and expats might be staying, and I may not be informed about all power cuts in advance.

A polite suggestion: Why not make a single pinned thread with details of power outages? The most recent post will be the latest outage details. I had to scroll through dozens of separate outage threads to find other posts on different topics! Older power outage threads have no value once that day has passed :)

Thanks for your atten and suggestion. However, the reason I don't make one thread is that then every ASEAN NOW member on Samui should open the thread to read the last post, when something new added, to check if it is in that specific member's area, PEA is now going to work and when. Using new threads gives easy readable headlines with dates and location.

It would be great, if an admin could delete old outdated threads.

It is temporary work. PEA is replacing the high power lines. When the island is done, I presume it ends. It seems like both crane-lifts and workers are borrowed from other provinces to do the job, something like 30-40 lifts working at the same time...
