In Thailand pre-diabetes starts at 110 and diabetes 2 at 120.

In most countries the figures are 100 and 110 respectively.

Is the difference due to Thailand having a different measurement system or a different interpretation of what the figures mean.

Currently I am down from 105 to 93, happy but not getting complacent.

World Health Organisation limits rather than American ones.

Canada, Australia and most of the EU use 110 or thereabouts for pre-diabetes following WHO guidelines.

At my hospital here, 100 is pre-diabetic, 125 diabetic for Fasting Blood Sugar. 94, I'm not getting complacent, either!

You can 'almost' ignore day to day blood sugar levels unless ridiculously high...

.............if you are concerned you need to get a Hb1Ac.

My ex wife and her mother get checked occasionally and have had it many times at 220+, up to 300. My son, brother, aunts and uncles had it but I was lucky. My blood sugar is usually 88.

I am more conscious of them due to kidney problems following chemo. I am probably overthinking things but I know two people on dialysis three times a week and have no wish to join them. But sound advice anyway, thank you.
