Finally, it comes out in the light! Wonder if that might be the reason we read about the same nationality regarding other very stupid, dumb and ignorant things in the news.

Like kicking people in the back for sitting on some beachside steps.

Best not throw too many stones if you live in a glass house.

Young people tend to be young and dumb no matter the nationality.

you must be simple to have failed the 11+ after all i managed to i pass it

I'm not at all "simple".... unlike you, I'm also not clueless....

"In the 1960s UK, the pass rate for the 11-plus exam hovered around 20% to 25%, meaning the failure rate was a staggering 75% to 80%. Those who passed gained entry to prestigious grammar schools, while the vast majority who "failed" were sent to secondary moderns.."

Try to be kinder.

Everyday stories about dumb Brits in Thailand.

Time to review the visa regulations

Do you think they would be refused a visa then?

that would be funny if not such a load of rubbish, nobody feels "invincible" after a spliff, its not alcohol, you clearly have no idea

I clearly have because my mind is not mushed through weed. 👍

There are several tv show series that air in USA, one highlights smugglers getting caught in Australia and arriving from Thailand, and other countries. All walks of life try this, most claim IDK how it got there and it’s not mine. One show focuses on OZ arrivals and caught with contraband/drugs, was called Nothing To Declare and Border Security.

Sad for the families of those that do this.

I imagine there are many reasons why someone would take this risk, but it may not turn out good for them.

Anyone who is stupid enough to be a drug mule is in fact, Dumb.

I wonder if an IQ test will help?😄

Yes, if they failed the IQ test 😄

Explains why so many Brits in Thailand can't differentiate between a man and a woman.

No sympathy for more runs.

They should read the book: The Damage Done!

It's definitely all the M150 and vapes and cheap weed that are leading these otherwise quite decent young Britons to serve the satanic drug trade.

Time to dig up Bronson.

💯%

Pretty silly response to being called out for a silly comment. Keep digging, I’m enjoying the show 😏

What's wrong with these youngsters, brain dead?

There will always be people looking to make easy money and not working for it greed always the motive most will be thinking if they can get to the UK and get caught the penalties are not to hard compared with other countries

So most will chance it

The brits here may be more visible here in their stupidity, but it's ludicrous to imagine that there aren't equal amounts to go around.

This is going on World wide, just because young people come from well to do families this doesn't ensure that they won't break the law. A guided tour to Bang Kwang Prison might smarten them up.

My nephew did time for drug dealing. He wasn't a user but was selling for a "You Know Who." He needed money as he was unemployed and he potted his girl friend. He's been straight now for over 15 years but he still shudders when he tells what life was like while he was locked up.

Throughout history no amount of enforcement or punishment has ever made a dent in this, and never will. It is greed fueled by huge profits, supported by ignorant suckers who take the fall, and at the bottom of the heap you find the wretched addicted, who are the ones who mostly fill the jails. And when those addicts get out of jail, what do you think happens? They go right back where they started - their addictions. Does anyone think that you can eliminate greed and profiteering from the entire human culture no matter where you go? Dream on. Another round of whack a mole.

Correct, when people are 'eighteen' they are idiots for the most part!

No guided tour is going to smarten anyone up. Do you think Thailand is going to want to present that image to the world, to the tourism industry? "Come send your misbehaving spoiled kids on our Thailand Jails Tour, that will cure them of their irresponsibility!" Unfortunately young people learn a lot of things the hard way, that's how it's always been. I'm GENUINELY happy for you and your nephew having beaten that terrible curse, but sadly he is in the small minority of repeat offenders whose lives end up ruined. My brother died of an OD, and 15 years later his only son also died of an OD and none of the family members even knew, except about 2 years after the fact. We still don't even know where he's buried. I can't even name him in my will. I have no kids, wife, to leave anything to, just one other nephew. What I think would be a good idea is if a law were passed that would make this documentary required viewing on the flights here, but that makes too much sense, doesn't it? Cheers mate.

Why the quotation marks? Is there any question about them being dumb?

The title says it all.

If only they would revise the visa rules as you suggested. That might cut out silly comments as well as fixing all the other ills in the world at the same time.

You never did reply to my question. Do you think that these people would be refused a visa?

If the answer is no, why did you suggest revising visa rules? Seems a silly irrelevant suggestion to me, but maybe I’m missing something? Hence my request for clarification, which you seem singularly unwilling to provide. I guess it’s easier to deflect.

Everything what you believe it right for you. 😂

Greed, Arrogance, and average or below average intelligence. So yes, dumb is an appropriate description.

No one would trust a Thai to get anyone involved in smuggling weed, they may be be stupid, but they aint that stupid, the Thai,s would sell you down the River at the drop of a Hat, the reason this is happening is because of the cheap price of legalised weed in Thailand, compared to prices in Europe. The legalisation of Cannabis in Thailand, along with its very lax Law enforcement, lit the green light for international crime gangs to target the Country as an easy gateway to make money, theres always a patsy to take the chance to make quick money. The idea that Thailand could possibly control the criminal entitys that have flooded the place since its legalisation, was naive at best, downright criminal at worst, but money talks, once you open Pandora,s Box, you cant close it....

Yep 💯 correct. Thais are not the gangs behind this , that’s just channel 4 journalism for you. This is all UK gangs sending people over for free holidays and to come back with weed in suitcases, they are called flyers. They would also have people there who work at the receiver airports like Heathrow to move things along more smoothly. The only input Thais will have is being the link to buy bulk in the country, nothing more.

Well they would have to be Brits because the “dumb” British government keeps the prices sky high. Just look at all the new recent multi millionaires in California that have been made since they legalised it. Who do you think they made their money from…..
