Passbook updater at SCB bank ATM on Jomtien Beach Rd near Immigration?

Featured Replies

Time sensitive query.

Only respond if you know.

I recall there is an SCB ATM on Jomtien beach road at approximately Soi 3 which is of course close to immigration on Soi 5.

Not asking about the large SCB branch much further out on Jomtien Beach Road past the night markett.

So that ATM exists correct?

Does it have a PASSBOOK printer updater?

I don't have the SCB app so can't look it up there.

Thank you.

Sounds like I got the exact soi wrong for the SCB ATM.

But if it still exists it's in inner Jomtien very close to immigration.

So I guess Soi 6 is more like it as you say near the Kodak shop.

Sounds as if you think no printer but aren't sure.

Of course.

The issue here was about closest location to the immigration office.

Turns out in this case that is the big SCB branch further out Jomtien Beach Road past the night market.

You win. I'm a dufus. You wanna medal?

My google search:

SCB's Jomtien Beach Road branch near Immigration is particularly popular with foreigners, opening the most accounts for expatriates in the area. The bank provides English-speaking staff, efficient service, and competitive rates for foreign exchange and international transactions. Opening Hours Monday-Friday 8:30-15:30

I've found the outside update machine to be inoperative every time I went to that branch, & I had to go inside. If so, I recommend you get there at opening because in past when I've dropped in at random times later in the day the lengthy queue (15+) & to me seemingly slow processing times per customer were very irritating. Twice I just left after 15 minutes upon observing little customer turnover.

Yes that's my home branch.

You're right about the outside machine.

I wouldn't trust it so yes you need to wait for service as if it was a big service.

Did you get it sorted on Friday?

Yes. Went to the big branch on Jomtien Beach Road. Waited about 20 minutes for a 5 second update service. The wait there is often an hour though.
