Which is why asked how you can possibly claim to have made such a so called accurate diagnosis when the respected AN medical specialist did not.

Do you apply powder around the area after showering or at other times? If so this causes the pores to dry out and get infected. Happened to me, I stopped applying talc and they disappeared

That is also a possibility but given the onset right after a shave, personally if it were me, I'd manage it as folliculitis first, then see a dermatologist if it did not resolve.

This infection can also result after having "cowgirl" sex, female on top. Especially if she is a grinder.
