For ages I've been using the free Proton VPN on my smart TV here in Korat. I connect to the USA so I get American YT and none of the Thai rubbish. However, I'd like to get some Aussie channels and see if I pay for the full version of Proton VPN then I can get a bunch of Aussie channels.

So is anyone here paying for the full version? Is it worth it? Do you have to pay again or subscribe to those Aussie channels or do you get them automatically with the full version of Proton VPN?

If you want Australian channels then just tell your vpn to connect to an IP in Australia

it will not give you access to subscription based channels anywhere at all.

All a vpn can do is spoof your address to access geographically restricted channels..they may also be subscription /paid for but that's another matter that a vpn can not solve.
