Featured Replies

Not for nothing is Indian known as the diabetes capital of the world. According to the findings suggested in a Lancet study published by the BBC, a shocking 101 million people in India - 11.4 per cent respectively, are living with diabetes. It is well-known that having a diet high in sugar can lead to diabetes.

I know another country where people tend to eat too much sugar, and also a lot of carbs such as rice or noodle.....

big fatties r mostly diabetic and it's just a lack of self control and self discipline 90% of the time

I always balance out my daily

McDonalds with a Subway !!!

Just saw a big fat dude in front of me in line at the supermarket.

Not sure what else he had, but spotted a couple of bags of M&Ms in his shopping cart.

The "Science" behind it (& Issues/Advantages of other Ancestries) is explained in this YT video...

I've queued it up at the South Asian ancestry so only takes a minute or 2 to watch for anybody who's interested...

I certainly was shocked when I met an attractive, slim Indian woman in America.

Almost all of the Patels we see are giant, obese older Indian women and usually normal sized men.

Of course, she was still young.

Almost all Mexican women blimp out when they get older because they don't walk 10 miles a day with a jug of water on their heads anymore like the old days. 😏

Not sure about Indians, but I think I remember reading that Asians do not need to get as fat as Westerners to be insulin resistant / diabetic.

They may appear to be healthier in terms of BMI, but not necessarily metabolically healthier. They don't get obese as easily as westerners?

Don't quote me on that.

Yes, I think there is some truth in what you're saying. A British guy I knew in Udon Thani was diabetic and attended the diabetics clinic at the the army hospital. He told me that he was shocked at the number of young people who attended there. And obesity did not seem to be prevalent, so it's obviously other factors that cause it.

And Google AI certainly confirms it.

Everybody here should enter their details into deathclock.com. It tells you the exact day you'll die. I'm going to be 95 (sh!t, I hope not!).

If it's wrong, I want my money back.
