This is interesting

We all know not many Thais file taxes...

And most who do file pay zero baht or some tiny amount, like 200- 500 baht a year....

Who Pays "Real Money in taxes" (Over 10,000 Baht/year)?

• ~1.33 Million people pay over 10,000 Baht.

• ~10.5% of tax filers.

• ~2.0% of the total population....

• . Who Pays "Serious Money in taxes" (Over 100,000 Baht/year)?

• ~440,000 people pay over 100,000 Baht.

• 3.50% of tax filers.

• 0.66% of the total population.

So only a whopping 2% of Thais pay any real money in taxes, and only O.66% of Thais pay any serious money in taxes...

It sounds to me like this tax reform has a long way to go....A very long ways to go....

100K tax a year begins with mainly employees who earn about 80K-100K per month (mid-career specialists and managers) taking into account yearly allowances/bonus, where tax is withheld from their payslip.
