I wouldn't be so sure of that. Everybody wants healthcare, security for their families. It's only the fatcats getting rich off the poor who don't need to care about that.

Those fatcats and their lobbyists are scarily expert at convincing voters to vote against their own interests.

I don't think I'll vote in any American election even if there is a real socialist candidate. AOC said she's keeping funding Israel; that's a deal-breaker for me. I only registered when I was 65 to vote against Trump. Voting against somebody is not what I call democracy. But there has not been anybody to vote for, has there?

I never believed voting could produce actual change. So I'll sit it out and watch the country of my birth destroy itself or save itself. I won't be around, in any case! This is the reason not to have children and grandchildren--we have to leave them the future.
