Iran would agree to that deal in a heartbeat. It would be a huge win for them and a mild win for USA. But Trump can't do that because it would represent a huge defeat for Israel. And Israel's interests have always been what is driving this show.

I realize that the toxic Israeli lobby is incredibly powerful but perhaps it's time to let go of the yoke and break free.

There's probably no better time to do it than now, as the percentage of Americans that opposes Israel and it's extremist policies, is probably higher than it's ever been, and that includes the American Jewish population.
