Endorsement in PR book

Featured Replies

Hello, please allow me. I just need some info about the endorsement in PR book which we normally applied before leaving the country. The question is, i applied a new endorsement 14 days before the old endorsement is expired as i needed to travel out urgent. The new endorsement was granted and i left the country before the old endorsement was expired. Is it OK to enterThailand after the old endorsement is expired while the new one is valid for the next one year? Thank you

I'm just bumping your thread.

I'm not across PR requirements to exit and reenter Thailand.

I'm aware that it's not as simple as obtaining reentry permit.

You need attend immigration.

So currently outside of Thailand?

All you can do is return and sort it out at immigration.

@BrandonJT @Tod Daniels any advice?

What date is on the endorsement?

Normally it is the date the endorsement is granted and stamped into your TM16/17 residence certificate.

If the OP is outside Thailand and did not get an endorsement in his/her TM16/17 and a non-quota immigrant (re-entry) visa, his PR is toast.

Seems you have PR status.

These threads are not common.

Please keep eye on thread to advise.

Thank you. I will. I've had PR going on thirty years.
