I have asked something similar a while back but can't find the link. That time someone answered that stamp on departure was still available, and they said were at departure it was which I do not remember. Anyone knows or have the link?

You can be stamped out.

What's with the tax title.

For some reason, the automated e-reader gates won't read my US chipped passport at departure, so I always step off to the side and get a stamp from a live IO. I don't even try the e-readers any more, and no problems at all with the nice people herding most people toward the e-readers.

Usually takes less than 5 minutes (unless all the e-readers are on the fritz and everyone's getting the manual stamps)
