No, this letter is completely different from a 'Bank Account Confirmation Letter'. The title is 'Letter of Audit Confirmation', which to me means I'm being informed that my accounts have been audited (I assume by internal bank auditors). I've had accounts with BBL for 15 years and have never received a letter like this before. I assume the banks check accounts electronically and my accounts were selected for manual review (e.g., high account balance, large number of transactions, foreign account holders, etc.). Since I haven't heard anything further from the bank, I continue to assume the audit was positive for me and there was no need for the bank to conduct any further investigations (otherwise, I'll find out in the coming weeks).
