I suspect the couple were fully aware of the legal issues they were facing- and I also suspect that the Thai lawyers and accountant were accomplices

They are all in trouble in my view - and as many on here have said in other posts - the nominee issue will only get bigger over time

That is a reasonably good point and as foreigners they are openly flouting the law knowing what the potential consequences are.

Thailand only enforces the law when it serves the government employees or the police to get richer, it has nothing to do with enforcing it across all areas. Why don't they enforce it on the road to Thai people, because there is no money to make.

I might suggest it is a more widespread trait in modern times than within the borders of Israel. I also wonder what is the point of using a lawyer if he employs illegal methods?

They live here, they talk to each others, they read the news.. they knew. Since I did join the Kingdom 15 years ago I was told there used to be "ways" to beat the land property system, the weakness being in these "inverted commas"

Did they also not know that a school needed to be approved by the education council or did their swifty lawyer say that was not necessary also? Sorry to say but the fewer Israelis in the Kingdom the better...they somehow think that Thailand owes them for their mere presence...
