Would like to replace my roll on(Nivea cool kick) and looking for alternatives without aluminium..which one do you use or can recommend that is available in thailand?

Agree, and many Thias, as well as myself and a few foreigners I know here use it all the time, both men and women. It smells clean, is safe for skin, and prevents chafing in this heat. have used it all my life, as well as turned my children onto it, who also use it daily.

For older men dusting the family jewels, ovarian cancer is probably fairly low on the list of concerns. 😄 Most of the old talcum powder worries were really about babies inhaling it and women using it around the genital area. For older men, the bigger shock is probably discovering how much the equipment has shrunk, not the talc.

Is have used Deodomin ever since I came to Thailand 18 years ago. It comes as powder, spray and roll-on without fragrance or with a mild citrus scent, .

Pure Alum was issued and used by the US in Vietnam, it is also an antibacterial, hence the use as a deodorant. Thailand has used it for as long as history records for infections and deodorant.

I use it for both, and at 70, no negative effects.

Alum based deodorants are available from BigC and Lotus's supermarkets in Thailand.

I have used them for over 20 years, and they work great. Currently I buy the Grace brand, unperfumed for about 52 baht.

Some thickies think all aluminium is the same, it's like saying carbon monoxide is the same as carbon dioxide.

Alum sticks are great, last a long time and are very cheap, on Shopee

Just imagine how many billions of dollars the cosmetics industry would lose if people actually liked the way they look and smell.

A shower twice a day does the job. Hell, even one shower a day can be enough for most. A little prickly heat powder. No need to slather great gobs of chemicals all over your body.
In 80 years, I've never used a deodorant or antiperspirant. And oddly enough, no one ever seems to try to move away from me in crowded spaces, and I have enjoyed a very active, happy social life. How can that be, without spending a king's ransom on deodorants, antiperspirants, 'Shower Gels' (that really have zero 'soap' but lots and lots of different chemicals)? I prefer natural glycerin or castile soaps instead. No need for perfumes to cover up the smell.
