Han River service --- or lack thereof.

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

After seeing a maid using a cordless vacuum cleaner in a nearby condo, my girlfriend told me that she would like one --- so I ordered it from the Han River company via Lazada. Its model number is HRXCQ03 and it arrived intact except for one thing. It is missing a very small, and probably inexpensive part --- the detachable floor mop.

After speaking to Lazada, they advised me to contact Han River. For about two weeks now, I have emailed them and left messages on their "contact us" facility on their website on an almost daily basis --- but have thus far received no response.

The whole item only cost me about THB 470, and I'm tempted to "write it off" but it seems such a shame for the want of such a small part. Also, to return the whole item to Lazada seems a bit "overkill".

Any ideas?

David.

I would have sent it back immediately, getting parts for things like this can be a nightmare.

You could try searching Lazada/Shopee to see if the mop is actually a consumable like they are for the Xaomi robot cleaners.

The grey fabric bit attachable with Velcro.

OK you should be able to buy a piece of that felt at a market or upholstery store. Just cut to fit. Just go to Google Maps and type in upholstery

What about the Velcro?

Thank you again to VocalNeal.

However (and I feel a little foolish here) after doing further research, I am now convinced that my particular model does NOT come with the mop facility/function and may explain why the aforementioned maid paid over THB 600 when mine was about THB 200 less.

It does however still say a lot about Han River PR. It would have only taken a few seconds for someone to return my emails/messages explaining the situation.
