50 seats is enough for the GOP in the Senate as the VP has the tie breaking vote. Again I'm predicting GOP to have 52 or 53 seats after the mid-terms. BTW I was one of the minority on here that called the 2024 election for Trump. What I got wrong was the amount of Electoral College votes he'd get. I think I was saying somewhere in the 280s. He got 312.

Walk into a shop in Iran now. By the time you have gotten through the door, got your milk and taken it to the counter it's increased in price. Their currency is worthless, no substantive import or exports, huge queues for fuel, no viable military only missiles and drones for asymmetrical warfare and their military industrial sector all but wiped out. Will it end before the mid-terms? Doubt it because the fundamentalists think holding out until the mid-terms will somehow make a difference. It won't no matter what the results of the mid-terms are. I said not long ago that the country is rapidly sliding toward being a failed state and I stand by this. Problem is the fundamentalists care not for the people but themselves and will continue doing what they're doing. Sooner or later it's the people themselves that need overthrow them. They have until 2028 to do this.
