Ukraine’s Flamingo Missile Blasts Russian Plant Linked to Iskander, Kinzhal and Kalibr Production

Satellite imagery has confirmed significant damage to Russia’s Volgogradpromproekt chemical plant following a Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile strike, with part of the facility’s main production building destroyed.

“One of the FP-5 missiles completely destroyed part of the main workshop measuring 20 by 15 meters,” Exilenova+ said.

Ukrainian defense company Fire Point, which produces the Flamingo missile, also confirmed the use of the FP-5 against the facility, according to Ukrainian defense outlet Oboronka on September 13.

Fire Point said the strike destroyed an attached section of the building covering approximately 380 square meters.
